Where can I get my nails done in Istanbul?

Good news fashionista ladies and gents! Beauty services in Istanbul are ridiculously affordable. If you’ve got a fancy event to attend while you’re traveling in Istanbul or you’re here during warm weather, and open-toed are making an appearance in your wardrobe, don’t fear unkempt hands and feet! The options for a little pampering are varied and easily accessible.

Option #1:

The steal. Almost every corner beauty salon will offer mani/pedis- sometimes for as low as 5TL! This is a great option during a beauty emergency. The quality may not be top-notch but it sure gets the job done! When searching on the streets, look out for the word kuaför.

Option #2:

At an upscale hair dresser. Why not kill two birds with one stone? Many Istanbul women prefer to get their nails done at the same time they get their hair cut. Professional hair cutting salons offer quality and convenient nail services. Two very popular chains in Istanbul are MOS and Erdem Kramer.

Option #3:

At an exclusive nail salon. Nail salons are a new concept in Turkey and have quickly become very trendy. If you want the fullest range of choices for your nails and the most expert execution, visit one of Istanbul’s shiny new nail bars. Don’t forget to pick up your non-fat latte afterwards, and feel like you’re back in L.A.
