Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah

Overlooking the magnificent view of the Golden Horn, Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah, a special category museum hotel, is located in Pera which was once known as the “Little Europe”. The hotel is just steps from Taksim, 5 km(3 miles) to the Old City(Sultanahmet) and 3 km(1.8 miles) to the harbor.  Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah is designed in a mixture of neoclassical, art nouveau and oriental styles. It hosts deluxe rooms and suites named after famous writers, presidents and actresses, such as Agatha Christie, Ernest Hemingway, Greta Garbo, and British King Edward VIII. Agatha Christie, a guest of Pera Palace Hotel at various times between 1926 and 1932, is supposed to have written her best-seller novel “Murder on the Orient Express” in this hotel. There is a restaurant, tea lounge and patisserie inside the hotel, serving from both Turkish and international cuisines. You can drink your wine while watching the sunset over the Golden Horn on the hotel’s terrace.
